Great Location, Very Clean, but Loud Posted: Apr 3, 2022 The condo was really pretty and immaculately clean. Location is perfect for walking downtown, including a fantastic used book store. The bed was very comfortable. The only issue we had was the person staying upstairs walked around quite heavily alot, and played music very loudly until midnight. My only suggestions are maybe a small tv in the bedroom. And I would recommend parking in the street because getting out of the designated spot can be a little tricky. But since there is plenty of street parking right there that was no big deal at all.

Perfect getaway Posted: Jul 26, 2020 Loved this little condo. It was clean and well maintained, close to the river and steps from everything you would want to access in town. It is a great rental for 1 or 2 people. There is certainly noise from people in the unit above, but nothing that was at odd hours. I would definitely stay here again.

The town this is located in is simply amazing plenty of little shops & Holland is minutes away which has everything from dining to shopping. We are already planning on coming back in 2020

Wonderful!!! Posted: Jul 4, 2019 Perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants. Well appointed. Easy parking. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Easy check in. Our tub drain backed up and someone came to fix it within an hour. Yes, as with other reviews you can hear every footstep upstairs. It was my one concern with booking third location. It was never a big distraction for us to the point that it was as big deal. Book with confidence!!!!

Water Street Retreat - Delightful! Posted: Jul 18, 2018 Our stay in Saugatuck was fantastic and the location, charm and cleanliness of the Water Street Retreat was beyond my expectations. It is on the small side for 4 people but we had zero issues, especially since we spent most of our time out enjoying the area and all it had to offer. The covered porch in back was nicely shaded and even during the warmest part of the day it was quite enjoyable. The other guests were polite but you can hear people walking upstairs if you are in the lower unit. It didn't bother us at all, but be aware of the potential if you are a light sleeper. Parking was tight for our truck, so we just parked on the street - again, no issue leaving it there for several nights. This snug condo would be perfect for a couple who wants a romantic perfectly located place to stay for a few days. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Stay! Posted: Nov 1, 2017 Water Street Retreat was perfect! The location is ideal for walking to everything Saugatuck has to offer. The rental was clean and had everything we needed for our get away. We were supposed to be celebrating our 20th anniversary in New Orleans but Hurricane Nate had us heading North at the last minute. So glad we found this place! We willl be back.

Great Stay Posted: Aug 6, 2017 The location was perfect - close to everything. The unit was nicely decorated and very clean. The booking process, payment process, and getting into the unit was a breeze. We will stay again! The only (very slight) negative was that we had one very loud "walker"above us. The other person you could hardly hear when they walked. They kept similar hours as us so it wasn't really a problem.

Fun in Saugatuck Posted: Nov 7, 2016 The Water Street Retreat was a perfect setting for a weekend away. We could not have asked for a better location. The condo had everything you would need while you in the unit. Fully stocked kitchen for us to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Comfortable seating, dining table, bedding and bed were great. Bathroom was nice and shower pressure was great with lots of hot water. Everything was updated and super clean. Checking in and out was very efficient. Wouldn't definitely return and recommend to others. Thanks again.

Charming Decor Perfect Location Posted: Aug 17, 2016 We have been coming to Saugatuck for 14 years and this is the first time at Water Sheet Retreat. Its the perfect location within walking distance to everything! More than enough room for a family of 4. Everything was spotless & so clean when we checked in. Ethan & Julie ( from the managment team) were excellent to work with as I had some specialty questions prior to our trip. Abundant supply of towels & blankets in condo. Full kitchen was amazing! Priced right for a wonderful 3 day getaway for my family! We will be back!

Anniversary getaway Posted: Jul 2, 2016 We had a wonderful time at quaint cottages. The location was excellent! perfect location to walk to anything in Saugatuck. The chain ferry to take you over to Oval beach on Lake Michigan is just across the street. The condo itself was very clean, true to the pictures and very comfortable. The owners are very easy to work with. It also was a great spot if you want to venture to Holland or Grand Haven, which is what we were looking for. A few things to mention: the best grocery store is a 5 min. drive to Douglas, if you go to eat at the Red Dock bring cash, they don't accept cards. It is a very laid back, back porch kind of place with awesome views, but more of a lunch location. You can even pull right up to the dock in your boat! Phil's bar and Grill was excellent! Go early! Sometimes a long wait. The parking space was small. A few nights we parked on the street because a couple of other renters had SUVs and we didn't feel like trying to squeeze in. I would definitely rent here again!

Very clean and modern Posted: Jun 6, 2016 Enjoyed our stay here. The combination lock makes it super easy to check in and out, no keys to mess with. The condo is very clean, modern, and comfortable. Its perfect for a 2 person getaway. The kitchen has everything you need, the flat screen TV is a nice size, and its just a tastefully decorated space.
