Phenomenal Value

More often than not we stumble around in the dark when we arrive at rental houses on Friday night but here we found the lights on and the heat at a comfortable temperature…very welcoming! The house is very clean and cute. Tastefully decorated but simple. Plenty of wood for the wood stove which we used all weekend. The rooms are perfect…again, cute and simple. Views from all sides of the house as we woke up Saturday morning were beautiful. Its not like its a mountain top vista but its pretty in all directions with lots of space between the houses.
If you haven't been to Plattekill, ski there when you stay at this house. It is uncrowded and homey…a totally unique ski experience. With coupons from the house, you can ski Sunday for free if you ski Saturday which comes out to $29 per day! For a small additional fee, you can rent this house to 5pm on Sunday (if they have no guests coming in Sunday night) allowing you to ski all day and then come back and grab your stuff.
