A must when going to big bear

First and foremost the amazing customer service is what made me want to stay in their cabin. I had booked in advance a room from the travelodge but when I booked they lied about a few things so I decided to cancel my reservation upon arrival. Besides them not having a few accommodations the front desk was very unfriendly and just rude. I was so close to just driving 3 hours back home because of the very unfriendly people I had encountered in travellodge. As soon as I walked in the squirrel resort the receptionist was so nice and helpful and not to mention amazingly polite. Now after my experience I was so glad that I didn’t settle for the travelodge. This resort makes ur big bear stay unforgettable. Me and my husband couldn’t get enough of the cabin it was so cozy and not to mention my son didn’t want to leave the next morning ????

the cabin needs work, especially the electrical system. The outlet in the bedroom was hanging by the cable out of the wall. We did not use it. The oven door needs the seal fixed or replaced. The toaster only toasted when you held the lever down. There was trouble with noise from across the street, but that was solved. The sprinklers went on more than once a day sometimes, but in the nine days we were there the grass was not cut and there were lots of gopher holes. The people we dealt with were nice, especially Kelly. The cabins should have brooms so we can clean a bit. We do plan on staying again, but will try another cabin.

Everything was fine except for the sofa, too hard to get out of, you sink too far down, or maybe this is the nature of a fold away. One of our lamps did not work, it was an electricity problem. It was handled very well and efficiently. Thank you very much

We enjoyed our stay and don't have any complaints other than you not having air conditioning in the cabins. I guess that's normal in Big Bear, but some fans would have helped us sleep better at night at least. We would stay again, but would make sure to bring fans during the summer.

Great Weekend at the Gray Squirrel. This is our 3rd stay in the Badger cabin. Even If We Didn't Bring Our Dog We'd Still Stay at the Gray Squirrel. We Wish the Wi-Fi Could Be a Little Better… But Everything Else Is Just Great.

Our stay in Badger was very good. The staff were very prompt in replacing two light bulbs for us. There was only one skillet, (which I purchased and left last year), so I purchased a smaller one to add to easier breakfast times. The glasses were sparse, but there were plenty of cups. We enjoyed our stay as always--
