Bring all of your family and friends to stay and enjoy our heated pool, indoor spa, and recreation area which has a family
firepit, outdoor BBQ and picnic area, a swing set and jungle gym, volley ball, tether ball, shuffleboard,
putting green, basketball, and ping pong. In our cabins, we provide new flatscreen televisions in all livingrooms and bedrooms, and fireplaces.

We enjoyed every minute of it. A very friendly staff. The grounds were very clean. It was easy to make friends with other guest. Most important our dog Bella had a great time.

I think this visit was our 4th. We have been there in Spring, Summer, winter, and Fall. Each time has been relaxing and enjoyable. The property is lovely, and we feel comfortable there. We love the wildlife that visit, the beautiful flowers and the trees. The employees are kind and helpful. The cabins are warm and cozy.

The place was pretty cool, even exceeded my expectations. Everything super easy, no caring keys , they give you a code. Close to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Good stay ..2nd time at Fawn. Sorry to say, we probably won't be back. Bed is way too soft (forgot that from previous stay) and room does not have enough light ( forgot that too). My back hurt for 4 days . Sorry, just being honest. In room coffee, not worth making, even with 2 coffee packets.....we love Big Bear, do that made us happy!

I stayed at the fawn cabin and it was delightful. I arrived at night while it was raining and thank goodness they answered their phones at such a late time. Very spacious and beautiful perfect for the weekend.

We enjoyed our stay in Big Bear. We were lucky to get the reservation for the dates we wanted as we booked so late. Our cabin was fine but small, but as we booked so late it was the only one available. Our bed mattress was nothing to write home about and it would be better if you changed it out for new. It was really not fun sleeping on that bed. Our hot water heater stopped working but the maintenance folks came and quickly relit the pilot light and we were back in business. However the rest of the stay was good. We would stay there again but only if I was assured I wouldn't get such a worn out bed mattress. Thank you

Great place to stay

Fawn studio at the Grey Squirrel was the perfect little cabin to rest one's head after a day of being on the mountain. We went to Big Bear for two days of snowboarding and stayed here for a night. The room was quiet, clean, and perfectly warm. The concierge was kind and helpful. All in all a great place to stay.

Pleasant experience. Clean and quite. One concern: mattress......sags in the middle and two people in the bed have difficult time to not roll to the center.

I had to get a lot of work done and being able to work with the free wifi on the patio of the studio worked perfectly for me. I'll come back to Grey Squirrel again soon!

we had a very nice stay. the last time we were there was about 12 years ago. Still very lovely, but I think this cottage is starting to get a little run down.
