My stay at the Possum qas AWESOME. It was clean and had everything in it I needed. I will be back and I recommend any guest coming to Big Bear to stay here!!

Cozy and Charming

Had a great stay, although rustic it was clean and cozy. The bed was super comfortable and it had everything you needed to cook meals, build a nice fire, and enjoy a little mountain retreat.

Grey Squirrel Resort

Reserved a small quaint cabin for two nights. We stayed in the Possum cabin. It was near the entrance of the resort so easy road access. Very close to the village. Pool, Jacuzzi, as well as table games and kids playground looked great. We enjoyed the porch in the morning and evening breezes with a glass of wine. We broke a wine glass by accident, let management know, there were no additional charges. We would gladly stay again.

Excellent and helpful staff - up early with coffee, tea and store bought pasteries. Room had all but stove. Nice tub with powerful jets. Bed wonderful! Quiet and peaceful place.

cabin was clean and tidy; towels in bath were fresh; towels in kitchen seemed somewhat oily and not so fresh; staff was very kind and helpful with everything. thank you

Big Bear Palooooza

LOVE IT!!! :) The cabin was perfect, nicely updated with new flat screens. Bed & futon were amazingly comfortable. Cabin stayed cool throughout the 93 degree weather. Kitchen was incredibly stocked with everything I could possibly imagine, made rice crispy treats needed a huge pot; Katie kindly made one available. Nani was incredibly kind and sweet, so was Katie our newest transplant from East coast to CA. What sealed the deal was the patio, round table/chairs over looking firepit & lawn, enjoyed coffee on the veranda and late afternoon talks before heading out to dinner. Jacuzzi was wonderfully hot after spending time in the pool with late afternoon breeze.
I give Grey Squirrel 10 + Stars! And I will recommend to all my friends & family! I bought firewood for the fireplace, however it did not dip down cold enough to use it. We left a bundle of wood we bought on the patio for someone else to enjoy.
Negative- did not feel comfortable w/maintenance workers working at pool area.

Recent stay at Possum with our 3 border collies...

We had a lovely time celebrating a dual birthday for one human and Piper the border collie. We enjoyed the birthday cake package and grilling our steak and salmon outside the unit. The staff were friendly and everything was clean and tidy inside the unit. It was wonderful to be able to share our trip with Zoe, Corey and Piper. They had a fantastic time swimming in the lake and walking the trails nearby. The park-like setting at Grey Squirrel was also enjoyed by all of us. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend the Grey Squirrel to people whose kids have 4 paws.
