Two Brothers Woods stay, October 12-19, 2020 Posted: Oct 24, 2020

Everything was very good. In fact, we were told that there was no Wi-fi, but apparently the owner has upgraded from DSL to Wi-fi recently. That was a significant convenience. There was one slight problem. The Direct TV access did not work. It was a minor problem for me, but others wanted to watch it. We tried to connect, got an error message, checked all connection we could find. We contacted Jason by email and phone about it a few times, but got no resolution. I assume he was unable together a response from the owner. Other than that, everything was more than satisfactory and in good working order. We enjoyed our stay.

The location of Two Brothers with the views was really special and exactly what we needed. The house rather well stocked and clean. The grill was fantastic and we used it a lot. One suggestion would be to have a salad spinner as all the other kitchen appliances were top of the line. The hosts were very easy to reach and acted right away. They had warned us that the dishwasher did not work and that they were trying to get it fixed but due to COVID that was hard. We washed the dishes by hand the entire week and that was fine. There was not wood for the outdoor fire but they made sure we had it the next day. The only other suggestion would be to move the big wooden bear out of the bedroom on the main floor-- it did scare my daughter. We are city folks and so this might not be an issue for people who like a hunter cabin decor. We had a wonderful and restful stay! Thank you! Dipti

We loved the house- so clean, cozy and rustic feeling. It was perfect for our ski weekend. A great place to make new memories. As usual, we appreciated the discounted tickets and Jason and Phyllis checking on our needs.

Loved the house and the location. Would definitely rent again. Was a bit surprised about the sulfur smell, it is very strong and we were not prepared ahead of time for that experience. The property managers were wonderful!

My friends and I had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home. It's located in a private secluded area with a beautiful view. The house had everything we needed. There is a lot of space and the deck is great especially because of the view. There is also a game room. Some things to note is that the water has a foul smell because of the sulfide in the water. Also it is handy to have an axe for the outdoor fire. Overall this is a beautiful place with lots of fun activities around.

Me and my family absolutely loved our experience. The cabin was beautiful and the scenery breath taking. Being in Margretville was a great escape from the stressful and fast paced suburban life. It was very relaxing.

I highly recommend staying at Two Brothers Woods. I stayed there for a weekend with 9 friends and a dog and our experience was amazing! Booking was very easy and they were very accommodating even though it was last minute. The cabin is beautiful, in a beautiful location, with many nearby hikes. Everyone was very comfortable and we were never bored. Thank you!
