Cute Little Condo Posted: Feb 23, 2026 The condo is conveniently located, it had everything needed for a comfortable stay, including everything for a day at the beach. A few things, like the coffee pot hadn't been cleaned and the cabinet where the garbage is could have been wiped down. Other than that, it was clean and well maintained. The condo is right next to the parking lot so lacks a bit in privacy and not very quiet if the slider is open. It wasn't needed, but info on the condo states there's an iron, there wasn't one. Kitchen towels would have been nice rather than having to use paper towels. Correspondence with the owners was great, directions for access to the condo were easy and received promptly. Over all a great place to stay!

First trip to Hawaii. What a stay! Posted: Dec 31, 2025 We absolutely loved the place! It was well stocked with everything we needed. We made quite a few meals “at home” without a search for utensils or equipment. The updated kitchen was perfect! The bed was very comfortable. Overall the property was very well maintained. We spent time at both pools and found them to be very clean and peaceful. There are tons of shops, restaurants, and beaches within walking distance. For a couple of first-timers, Maui Banyan was perfect! We can’t wait to get back.

Disappointed Posted: Dec 14, 2025 The description of the unit was controversial. The heading states 3BR 2 BA but the context lists 4BR 1 BA. I was looking for a 4 bedroom so was slightly disappointed that 2 of my guests had to sleep on the pull out sofa with no privacy. The toilets plugged on the same day and I had to call for an emergency fix, which was addressed quickly by the manager. However, the next day, one of them plugged again, I messaged the property manager and received no reply. There is no mention of stairs into the unit, I had 3 elderly people with me who struggled for the week with the stairs, there are about 15 stairs up to the unit. Had I been provided correct information, I would have booked elsewhere with what suited our needs. The no cancellation policy is a joke- especially when the description is wrong!! The toilets need replacing- that situation caused a lot of unnecessary disruption and stress especially when 6 people are in the unit with no functioning toilets.

Luv Maui Posted: Sep 8, 2025 The condo was great, good amenities, assigned parking space, 2 bathrooms a plus! Walking distance to beaches, shops and restaurants. The only issue was the bedroom closet was so full of bedding, golf clubs, etc... We did not have much room to hang up clothes or store our luggage. We also had to clean a little, like the coffee pot and dryer filter. Overall a great place and we will definitely return!

Perfect relaxing weekend on Island Lake Posted: Jul 18, 2025 My family and I were visiting friends in the area and were so fortunate to stay at Island Lakehouse. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is immaculate inside and out and had lots of activities and games for the entire family, from corn hole to ping pong. The home has a private dock, perfect for the kids to jump off of and play around in the water and the hosts provided kayaks, paddleboards, and plenty of life jackets for fun on the lake. We enjoyed dinner on the patio and were able to light the gas fireplace in the center on the cooler evenings, but the best part of the night was toasting S'Mores down on the firepit by the water. I highly recommend this home and can't wait to visit Shelton and Union again next year!

Memorable stay on Annas Bay and Hood Canal - 5 Stars! Posted: Jul 18, 2025 We loved this secluded and cozy cabin right on the water! The large floor to ceiling windows gave amazing panoramic views of Hood Canal and Annas Bay. The terrace looked out over the canal, which was a great place to spend the morning having a cup of coffee while watching the many types of birds enjoying their breakfast. When we arrived back to the cabin after a day of adventuring, we were so excited to see the water had risen up around the house and it felt like you were floating in the water! Kayaking was incredibly easy, as we just popped them into the water and off we went. We saw many types of birds and other wildlife during our stay, including seals and bald eagles! This is a well-loved historical family home and we will be back again. Oh! And don't forget to go get some ice cream down at Hunter Family Farm store! Tell them you're staying at the beach house and they'll take good care of you.

The kitchen seemed well stocked with all the things you could need. Loved the unit came with all of thing for you to use on the beach. It was clean and up to date. Maui Paradise Posted: Nov 7, 2024 We've been to Maui many times and this was one of our best trips ever. The location of this condo was amazing, so close to the great beaches, sunsets, snorkeling, and close walk to so many things. This is a well-stocked kitchen (I've been in units that didn't even have S&P in the past), clean unit with great views and beautiful grounds. The host, Susie, was very communicative with ideas of things to do, help with questions, and had a very nice welcoming basket for us, water in the fridge, along with fresh fruit for our first morning on Maui. This was a very clean unit, comfortable beds, and so nice to have beach chairs, umbrella and other necessities for life at the beach. Other big plus of staying here is the great central location, we hosted friends who had never been to Maui, so spent more time this trip being tourist - yes road to Hana, Kapalua, and Haleakala! It was nice to limit our drive time and still show off the whole island. This is a great location!

My only notes: washing machine needs a good scrub, dryer was full of sand and lint when we arrived, and dishwasher is on the verge of falling apart but gets the job done. None of that bothered us since we were in paradise, but we wanted to point it out! Thank for for a great vacation, and we hope to be back!!

The unit is very comfortable with the owners doing updates step by step. Marie and Steve are excellent to deal and communicate with, we have had a long standing vacationing friendship with them. We look forward to returning in 2025 and staying in Marie and Steve's unit. We highly recommend booking this unit for travellers to Maui.

All the beds are incredibly comfortable, it has a ton of space, and even has access to beach towels, boards, snorkel gear, and sand tools. This had everything we needed to make our week in Maui fantastic! The only recommendation that it would have been nice to have more supplies. There was very little soap and shampoo provided, and we had to conserve toilet paper to make it last the whole week. I expected there to be more of those supplies, but other than that, everything was incredible!

Gates Family Vacation Posted: Jul 20, 2023 The location of KOA is perfect in the Kihei area…the pool area is great…the bar-b-que area is nice but a long way from our unit…there were some issues with our unit that we weren’t happy with but not KOAs fault…the grounds by our unit were in repair mode and needed replanting-an eyesore for the week and the sprinklers watered our patio in the afternoon…we went to the office 4 times and no one was there…the unit was a good a good size for 10…nice parking area…we would stay there again…

February Wailea stay… INCREDIBLE Posted: Mar 27, 2023 We had more than an amazing stay in February. The pictures do not do the rental justice. Each morning we could spot whales in the bay and enjoyed our coffee on the lanai. The home was well stocked and clean. Never slept better on vacation. Great nearby food, shopping and coffee. Quiet at night and well kept grounds. We are already thinking of returning as soon as we can. Communication was easy and simple. Everything exceeded expectations . Thank you so much.

We had a hard time figuring out how the fan worked. The second bedroom was very hot. Not alot of circulation in that room. Springtime retreat 2023 Posted: Mar 24, 2023 We had an awesome stay at Maui Vista. The condo is quaint and comfortable. The location is a short walk from Charley Young Beach which is ideal for morning walks along the beach and the most beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. Easy walking distance to several great restaurants but a nice kitchen for those times you don't want to go out. This is an ideal setup for a wonderful vacation.

Some review mention traffic noise, but we honestly didn't even notice because we were worn out when it was time for bed.

The main level bedroom light and fan did not work the entire time and the batteries in the remotes upstairs bedroom were corroded and didn’t work at all. The main level bedroom comforter was covered in sand when we arrived, so we didn’t use that at all during our stay, and a few other things were dirty upon our arrival. We appreciated the lanai seating, the property was nice, clean, and quiet, the beach amenities were very helpful to have (even if some of it needs replaced). Overall I would stay again here! Great location to everything!

It is comforting to come back to such a wonderful place with a gorgeous view of the plumeria trees and mountains from the lanai-perfect place to start your morning with that first cup of coffee. The best beaches right there too-so fun to walk from one to the other to swim and snorkel! The sweet little town of Kihei with its shopping and restaurants is an easy walk from the condo or the beach. The king size bed is amazingly comfortable!! And 2 bathrooms are a plus. Thank you again! Nice Condo Posted: Jul 15, 2022 This condo we stayed was furnished nicely, and had plenty of space for our guests to spread out. The grounds were well kept, and the pool was very nice. The condo is in a central location on Maui, so it is easy to get to many activities quickly. The ocean/beach was right across the street, and on some days you could see turtles on the edge. The only issue we had was that the freezer stopped working, and we lost some food in the process.

Great ocean view, convenient location Posted: May 21, 2022 Condo was comfortable with good seating for four adults. Kitchen was well-equipped. Beds were comfortable. Best part was sitting on the balcony in the morning overlooking the condo grounds towards the Pacific and the islands off shore. We could see the boats headed for the Molokini Crater. Short distance to restaurants although if you want to walk it is a fairly steep trek back home. Minor problem when we arrived - the owner's stuff filled all the closets and there was no room to hang our clothes - was promptly taken care of by property management. Would definitely recommend.

Maui Vacation Posted: May 4, 2022 We had a wonderful week in Maui at our condo. Beautiful place, lots of amenities and close to beaches. Can definitely recommend. Couple minor things—had to hunt for modem to get WiFi and password, usually that’s information shared in advance; didn’t find out until we arrived that pool by condo was closed, luckily the second pool in complex was open; closet space was limited due to beach/pool equipment storage and 2 locked for owner’s use. We purchased our stay through charity auction. Definitely worth it!

Sweet Refuge at Island Lakehouse Posted: Feb 10, 2022 At the last minute, I needed to come to the Shelton area to help out with a family emergency for six weeks. The Island Lakehouse was the only rental available on such short notice, and it was a bit bigger than I thought I needed, but I took it. I am SO glad I did! The house is adorable, very well appointed and immaculate; the view magnificent; and the assistance provided by the owner was very helpful in my time of tremendous stress. Each day, when I returned to the house, I was so very grateful for a safe, relaxing, and comfortable haven. I highly recommend this property and will surely try to stay here on all future visits.

It is well laid out, furnished in comfortable, lake-house chic style, and the owner provided a lovely welcome basket of goodies to help me get settled in. Plus, they were very willing to work with me on my rapidly changing needs due to a family medical crisis. I appreciated the simplicity and genuinely caring response when I needed to arrive earlier and stay longer than planned. I highly recommend this one!

Posted: Aug 1, 2021 Thanks to its perfect location, we could enjoy the pool every morning and visit places in the afternoon: the Needle Monument in Iao Valley, the gorgeous beach at Wailea, Waihe'e Ridge Trail, Lahaina (for some gift-shopping, shave ice-indulging and history-learning)... The apartment was ideal for a family of four. We ate in some days and had all the utensils we needed to cook. It was hot and humid, but the fans brought a lovely breeze in the rooms and we slept well every night. Had we had more time in Maui we would have used the ping-pong table in the resort too! Loved the book-exchange shelves as well and even left a couple of our own.

Fabulous stay in Wailea Ekolu 703 Posted: Apr 14, 2021 Beautiful condo with great beds and all of the comforts of home. This was the most well-stocked kitchen of any airbnbs we’ve stayed in! Breakfasts on the lanai overlooking the ocean are only topped by the daily sunsets from the same place. Close to everything and situated in a quiet condo neighborhood. Beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach cooler, and an umbrella made trips to the beach fantastic! We love staying in this part of Wailea and will definitely be back to stay in 703. Thanks for being great hosts!

Amazing condo Posted: Jan 15, 2021 We enjoyed our stay in 703. The view is amazing loved to watch the boats each day going to Molokini. The sunset every night was great. We had only one issue when first got to condo the door code was wrong and the master bathroom had odor. The following day found the door on washer was closed and had mold on rubber rim or gasket. Went to store bought bleach and cleaned the washer. Would stay again in future.

Koa Resort Kihei Family Vacation Rental Posted: Dec 31, 2019 Truly enjoyed the our stay. Pictures were very accurate. Condo was clean and well equipped with ample dishes, pots & pans, cooking staples, beach towels, beach chair and cooler which we took advantage of. Grounds and pool were lovely and well kept. Kihei was very convenient for grocery shopping and quaint restaurants. Much less touristy than crowded Kaanapali properties. Only down side would be the walk to the beach. Closest beach was a pretty but small beach perfect for families with small children. We were traveling with a 4 year old so this was perfect for us but families with older children or teens may want to drive a little farther for a better beach experience. We would recommend the condo and would stay again.

Great unit in Ekolu Posted: Dec 26, 2019 This is a great unit in the Ekolu complex. Easy to access and very well appointed. Of note is the kitchen. Many tools and a gourmet's delight with the number of things that you may ever need. The organization and care of the kitchen is outstanding. Great washer/dryer in the master bedroom. Makes for easy packing from the mainland. Well-appointed beach going gear. A few snorkels, beach mats, beach towels and chairs. Comfy beds and furniture! Nice for relaxing when you are not out and about. Patio view is exceptional - in December you can see whales jumping down in the bay. Nice view of Molokini from the kitchen side of the patio at the bar-height table. Great grill for making dinner in on nights that you don't want to head out. Walking to Manioli's for happy hour is a great find. Good eats and affordable libations.

Family Vacation Posted: Oct 14, 2019 Our stay at the Koa Resort was very enjoyable. We were joined by our adult daughters who shared the "master" bedroom and bathroom. Husband and I took the loft bedroom. We appreciated the spacious balcony for coffee and cocktails. The location was ideal in order for us to tour around the island. There were several coffee shops and grocery stores nearby. The unit does need some updating but all in all our stay was comfortable and it was a very convenient location.

Excellent condo, terrific views, great location Posted: Jul 9, 2019 We stayed here over July 4th. With virtually wall-to-wall windows on the 39th floor, the view of the fireworks was the best we have ever had, not to mention the views of the ocean and marina. One set of windows slide open, making picture taking easy. The condo is exactly like the photos, if not better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in could not have been easier, and texted questions during the visit were quickly answered.

Good Place - Can Be Close Quarters Posted: May 22, 2019 Writing as a 33 year old male who enjoys a night out but just as easily likes an early night to bed and an early morning to boot- Everything was pretty great overall. My single biggest complaint was around being on the first floor. I can't speak for every unit in the complex but whoever was above us absolutely wore wooden clogs and was into banging pots and pans at odd hours. We spent a lot of time awake at times we shouldn't have because of noisy neighbors, which isn't something the host/hostess could directly control but other travelers should be aware of. Beyond that, the space was great for the time of year we were there. We didn't spend any time at the on-premise facilities but they looked lovely. Parking was convenient and nearby. One bed was a little firm and the other quite soft to the point of caving at the center, but the kitchen had all the amenities and the place was spacious and relatively easy to cool with the AC. Buy TP, shampoo and conditioner. You'll need those. :)

Great space Posted: Mar 28, 2019 This unit was beautifully decorated and the space was fantastic for 2 families! Lots of seating and dining space. Lighting was nice and super comfortable beds. Plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach umbrella. Koa Resort has nice grounds and a nice pool. The 1/2 star was taken off because of this unit's location in the resort - right on the corner of two roads (one is busy) so there was a lot of traffic noise if windows were opened.

Good place Posted: Jan 22, 2019 Great place. Right off the main drag. Kids loved the huge pool, which went from 2 feet to 9 feet. So plenty for all ages. Plenty of other stuff to do on property too. Close to the Maui Aquarium. Which was awesome. Only complaints were nothing big. Condo is slightly dated, but was super clean. Grills on property are barely serviceable, but they worked. Parking. Long walk to parking lot, try to get street parking. But that fills up after working hours quick. Overall though, highly recommend.

Comfortable and Convenient Posted: Dec 14, 2018 We had a great stay in Maui at the Koa Resort. The unit was very comfortable, and it was nice to be able to open the double sliding glass doors to the lanai and have an 8 foot opening for an indoor-outdoor space. The kitchen was well equipped and we had many of our meals there. It was also nice having the stacking washer and dryer. You don't need to pack much, just do laundry every few days. A big bonus for my husband was the recliner. It's not shown in the picture, but the living room furniture is changed and instead of two rattan club chairs there's a leather rocker recliner. Super comfy. The only suggestion I would make is to include more keys for the pool. There was only one, so you if you didn't all go to the pool at the same time, you'd either have to leave the door ajar or keep an eye out to let each other in. All in all a great time!

Koa Resort 2J - Great Location Posted: Dec 1, 2018 We had a great time staying in 2J at the Koa Resort over Thanksgiving holiday. The condo's location in the resort was great, away from traffic noise and close to everything else. The Lanai was wonderful and where we spent most of our time. The resort was well maintained and we loved all the beautiful landscaping. The kitchen was very well equipped. We also made good use of the onsite tennis courts and gas grills. It’s a short walk to the beach across the street, which is excellent for long walks and sunsets. Several things were broken in the condo: the fridge drawer was broken, the garbage disposal was fragile and backed up the sink twice during our stay. Renters also need to be warned that there is no bathroom door in the upstairs bedroom - only a cloth curtain. Despite this, we all had a great time at the Koa Resort.

Posted: Oct 28, 2018 We had a nice time staying at Koa resort - the grounds and pool were excellent. We loved the lanai, and the couches were super comfy. A few little critiques - the slatted doors made our evenings challenging, as we had little ones with early bedtimes (because the noise went straight through the doors, the adults had to be extra quiet after kids' bedtime). The ice maker in the fridge kept getting stuck and then firing out heaps of ice all over the floor. There was no pool key when we arrived, but this was rectified very quickly (thanks for that). Overall we had a really nice time with just a few little blips. Thanks for letting us stay. :)

Had a wonderful washer and dryer. The only thing that could have been better would have been an easier way to find the condo after dark. We were not the only group trying to locate the building. A lighted number would have been so helpful or someone in the office to help.

Girls Reunion Vacation Posted: Aug 28, 2018 This condo in Kihei was exactly as described . Comfortable, tastefully decorated,clean and very roomy for 7. We found everything to be in good working order. The beach towels and chairs where great. The washer and dryer where convenient.There also was laundry soap on hand . We made good use of the lanai. The grounds are very spacious and lush. The pool was great. Very easy to walk to the beach from the Condo. Didn't go swimming there, just had a long walk.The location is great for exploring Maui, about 20 mins form Airport, you are basically in middle. Kelli the property manager was great, I only emailed her,but she was always very quick to respond. I will point out the this unit was on the end, so only one unit next door. Kihei road is right outside the front door, there are lots of trees, bushes etc.But it is a busy road, and can be a bit noisy. But this never detracted from our time there.Mahalo

Beautiful Wailea Property Posted: May 26, 2018 The unit is in an excellent location. It is an easy walk to the shops of Wailea, the boardwalk, and some of the best beaches on the island. The pool is also a short walk away, is well maintained, and is calm/quite. The unit itself was newly remodeled and has all the necessary furnishings to make our week stay a lovely trip. Would highly recommend this property.

Great Stay! Posted: Mar 20, 2018 We recently stayed in Wailea Ekolu 703 and it was great! The condo had everything we needed. It was fully stocked with beach supplies (towels, chairs, sand toys) and the kitchen was nicely stocked with kitchen gear for cooking.The wifi was slow but that just discouraged us from working. The view was amazing from the lanai and there was a nice accessible lawn space right off the lanai that made it a perfect condo for my toddler. She loved running around on the grass while we relaxed on the lanai. The condo was located a stones throw from the pool so it made loading up all our stuff to swim for the day easy. You can walk to the beach but it's about a 15 min walk. The shops at wailea are easily walkable as well. We loved our stay!

Koa Resort is a great location Posted: Mar 2, 2018 We have vacationed on Maui for many years as a family and we always enjoy staying in Kihei. Koa Resort is one of our favorites. It’s quiet, well located and has a great pool. While we love Koa, Unit 5J could use an update. It’s a nice condo but we were only able to do 2 loads of laundry before the washer failed. It also has some minor issues with lighting and is generally tired.

Spoke with Kelli immediately who promptly resolved it by getting the cleaning crew there and also by covering the cost of our meal while we waited. That was excellent service. Condo was really good. Filled with beach chairs and umbrellas and coolers which we used almost daily. Incredible views. Some electrical plugs did not work. One air conditioner was questionable as it was loud and leaked water. Compressor issues. One shower was slow getting hot water. All In all house was well stocked with appliances and comfortable furniture. I would fully recommend this room to friends and family as those little issues do not ruin the vacation. nice clean house Posted: Feb 18, 2018 Great place to stay, excellent for families with the pool area right in the middle and grassy areas to play in. The house was big enough for 6 adults and 1 child. Just to note the upper bedroom is open to the downstiairs so if noise is a concern to your party staying upstairs this may be a consideration. Overall the grounds were matained very well and the house was in good shape, very pleasant palce to stay.

Everything you need was just a short car drive away, the beach you want Starbucks...it's right down the street. Longs and foodland are not far away either. The condo was fully equipped for whatever you need. My granddaughters ( 4 and 1 year old) loved it here. The pool was a nice size.... it was perfect for my 4 year old grandbaby who's still learning how to swim because it had a 2ft section. We will definitely be coming back to stay

The condo was wonderful for our four elementary age grandchildren, with a lovely grass area outside the sliding glass door, where they could play. We couldn't be happier and recommend this for a great get away!!! :) :) So happy we were able to stay here.

Recharging Getaway Posted: Apr 17, 2017 My family's stay at this property was extremely enjoyable. It did come equipped with a television but to be quite frank there was little opportunity to turn it on. The property and location was thriving with things to do and see. We did not want for anything as the property was well equipped. We were a 2 minute walk to the beach, a 20 minute walk to town and tropical growth everywhere you turned. Truly a wonderful location and property that absolutely forces you to de-stress and definitely recharge. A great time was had by all. Even had the pleasure of unexpected sea turtles swimming amongst us at the beach. Very Cool!!!

Love the pool at the resort. The rooms and washrooms were nice and spacious as well. Lots of kitchen tools/appliances/utensils to use. Would stay here again anytime! The ceiling fans and air conditioning was great too! Loved this place! Kelli the manager was also easily available when needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Convenient location Posted: Jun 5, 2016 The complex itself looks a lil older, but don't let that turn you away. The grounds are well kept & pool looked nice (I'm not a pool person, so never went in). Was a lil annoying the remotes for the loft fan and living room control each other, so took some effort to tien on the light in one space but not the other. Got used to it quickly. The chairs, coolers, ect very helpful. It's near sugar beach which was chill and never crowded. Also less that five min drive from a shopping center that has Safeway (groceries) and a bunch of eateries. Make sure to hit 808 cafe & Hawaiian bbq.

A Week In Wailea Posted: Apr 28, 2016 This was the most comfortable condo we have ever visited. The furniture and furnishings were great. We absolutely loved the view, particularly at sunset. The only concerns we had were the road noise from the nearby thoroughfare and dust from a construction site that will soon be completed. We would definitely recommend this condo to a couple or family looking for space and comfort.

Nice Condo but watchout for the Condo Association Rules Posted: Jan 11, 2016 Koa 2e is a well maintained condo with plenty of added beach going items and the resort is quiet and charming. The Resort Condo Association Rules are very strict and tied to large dollar amount fines. An enforcer regularly hands out notices. It gives the renter an intimidating and unfriendly feeling.

The view was amazing, we saw whales in the bay a couple of times. The surrounding gardens and grounds were a delight in themselves and we enjoyed the pool which was close by. Overall an outstanding property which I highly recommend and will stay at again next time in Maui.

I did wish the sheets were a little better quality and that the ac was easier to work very confusing. However the livingroom size the comfortable couch the amenities and condiments left behind were all a blessing. The best part was Kelli who is amazing to work with. Good experience, but poor customer service Posted: Dec 6, 2015 We enjoyed our stay. I was disappointed that I never received a call back after leaving a message the day after we arrived with some questions. I was also surprised that no one (Kelly or whoever) checked in with us at any time during our stay. We found an eyeglass case filled with money/change under one of the beds and left it on the kitchen counter when we departed on 11/28.

Perfect accomodation in Paradise Posted: Nov 29, 2015 Loved this place! The two rooms are perfect for two couples (with an additional bed if needed) and the view from the lanai centered on the sunset on the ocean was simply breathtaking. At times we'd rather stay here rather then exploring Maui just to enjoy the peacefulness of the place. The apartment comes with all you need (towels, bed linen, kitchen utensils, bbq...) as well as bodyboards, snorkels and fins, beach towels, noodles and everything you may need to enjoy the beach and the ocean. We stayed at the Makena Beach and Golf Resort for a few days after and hands down this apartment was a way better accommodation (also cheaper). Do not hesitate and book this place for your holiday, you won't regret it.

Maui family vaca Posted: Nov 11, 2015 The condo and location met our needs for 6 adults and a toddler. It was very well stocked, we cooked breakfast every day and a couple dinners. The dishwasher broke, maintenance came right away, unfortunately couldn't be fixed so had to hand wash a couple days. Happy to find the beach equipment, plenty of towels. Wonderful experience.

Perfect place to stay in Kihei! Posted: Nov 4, 2015 I stayed at this resort with my parents, sister, and two other family friends. It was the perfect size for all of us. It was super clean and had air conditioning. The only small difficulty was trying to figure out how to get to the pool. Other than that, it was super easy to find and get into with the directions and I would definitely stay there again.

Beautifull clean place to stay Posted: Aug 3, 2015 We were a group of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) and it was perfect for everyone. As a wheelchair user, the first floor had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The condo is spacious and clean, the balcony and the garden is wonderful with all the flower trees everywhere. The pool is clean and gorgeous, it was a blast to end each day at the pool! There is many strict rules, maybe a little too much, but we would definitely get back to this place!

Quiet location, good amenities Posted: Aug 3, 2015 This space has a cute 1960s vibe and comes with lots of pool- and beach-friendly items to borrow, including beach towels and boogie boards. There's also a nice balcony in the back with tables and chairs--perfect for eating breakfast in the morning air. My family happened to stay here during one of the hottest weeks in Maui in about ten years, so the two air conditioning units were helpful when we were close to them, but not quite powerful enough for the whole space. If this is a concern, check with Kelli ahead of time--the AC situation may be different in the future. Or, if you're staying at a cooler time of year, I don't think this would be a problem. Other than that, be aware that many at the resort are residents. You may run into them in the common areas or at the pool. If anyone seems salty about you having the pool code, you can explain that you're a vacation guest--or you can politely keep your distance :P

Poorl6 maintained Posted: Jul 19, 2015 We rented 2-J and my wifes family rented 2-H which are the exact same units in two different buildings. That is where the comparisons stop . We ended up spending as much time in their unit as possible as ours had very inadiquate air conditioning. Our place had stained carpets, worn and damaged fixtures, the equipment such as umbrellas and beach items for the most part was broken and unusable. The refridgerator which was set on high was barely above room temperature. Overall I would say that the place did not compare at all favorably to the other Koa units and certainly was not to the standards of an upgrade vacation home which it was advertised as. I would not recomment this place to anyone and if there was an arbitration vehicle to get a refund or credit toward another Koa unit I would go there immediately.

Great Stay! Posted: Jun 10, 2015 We had a great time. The condo was well appointed, clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and resort grounds. The property managers were very timely in responding to a problem with the AC and had it fixed within a few hours.

Family Vacation Posted: May 28, 2015 I live on Maui and had a number of family members come out to visit me recently. Rather than have everyone stay with me I rented a 2bdrm/2bth condo (5j) at the Koa Resort and it was amazing. Both the booking and check in process was extremely easy. The grounds of the Koa Resort are very well kept and the recreation areas (pool/BBQ/etc) were perfect. Unit 5j was perfect for our needs and it really became a home away from home for the family. I assure you that I know exactly where I will be going for a rental the next time I have a group of visitors out from the mainland. Mahalo Koa!

Fantastic stay! Posted: Apr 30, 2015 Fantastic stay for my family! We arrived to a very clean space and was provided everything that you would need for a vacation in Maui, not to mention spectacular views of the ocean. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this listing to anyone going to Maui.

Koa Resort 2E Posted: Apr 20, 2015 Our stay was most enjoyable. The condo is very well equipped with everything one needs and is very clean and close to all amenities and beaches. Would have been nice to have Wi-Fi in the unit.

Pleasant stay at Kihei Posted: Feb 28, 2015 Everything we needed was in the condo, including towels and seats for the beach and we had a great stay. However, the kitchen and dishes were not clean and we had to clean everything when we arrived. We don't understand why we had to wash all linens and towels before leaving as instructed when we paid $150 as cleaning fees. Also, a guide to use the dryer and washer would be great. And only 4 seatings were available when the condo is for max 6 people.

Great Family Stay Posted: Feb 14, 2015 My extended family (8) had the pleasure of staying at this unit in February 2015.It's quiet north Kihei location is very easy to get to and the traffic in the south part of Maui is much more desirable than the west side of the island. Ample parking onsite exists, there is a golf cart to help you with luggage and your Costco rations when you arrive and accessing the ground floor unit was very easy. Inside we were treated to 3 modernized bedrooms and baths, and a kitchen with plenty of cutlery, glassware and dishes for a large group. There is a coffee maker and blender in the kitchen as well.The pool and hottub facility were well maintained and very large, a 9ft pool (pool and beach toys supplied in patio bench)!You may feel intimidated reading through the resort (not unit) rule book at first, but I never seen any tickets being issued during our stay.Quiet resort with a quiet beach great for young families across the street! 3 minute drive to the grocery stores and 10 to the Kam beaches

Good choice for holiday vacation Posted: Jan 2, 2015 Stayed here over Christmas holidays. Very comfortable, were able to prepare a Christmas meal for our family. Decor a little dated. Lack of internet was a big inconvenience.

4.5 Posted: Dec 27, 2014 We just loved Wailea 702 and couldn't have stayed at a nicer place, it was very well stocked and very well appointed. The views were stunning and we had many days of just enjoying the pool. The two negatives is that the key is very hard to find and that a car is a must as the location is a ways from everything. Great Bang for your Buck Posted: Dec 16, 2014 If you're looking for a nice place to stay, you probably won't find a better value on the island. This place is very clean and spacious, and it's located just one block from the beach in Kihei (awesome location). We especially appreciated the beach towels, lawn chairs, cooler, and boogie boards. And if you're interested in doing your own cooking, it is equipped with all the basic essentials. Kelli was tremendously helpful and very quick to respond to all of our inquiries. We highly recommend this property and definitely plan on returning.

Three Grandma's Posted: Dec 13, 2014 Thank you. We had a wonderful stay in Maui. The unit was clean and supplied coolers and beach chairs that we used everyday, grounds were beautiful and the pool and hot tub area was a great place to chat with other vacationer's or just relax at night. Sat on the lanai every morning for breakfast and listened to the birds. The golf cart came in really handy for getting things to and from your room. We had a wonderful time and would come back to the KOA resort.

Posted: Dec 9, 2014 Clean, comfortable for six people, quiet, well equipped. Would book again. The resort is well kept and feels safe & secure. Resort would benefit from a bit of lighting to display building numbers in the dark. Our condo was hard to find in a night arrival.

Koa 3-bedroom Review Posted: Oct 27, 2014 Our stay was lovely.. everything was very convenient except one thing. There were AC's in every room but the family room and that made it very difficult during a time of hot weather and high humidity! Everything else was great and very clean.
