2nd year in a row - fantastic experience Posted: Jul 25, 2024 Last year we stayed in the upper level cottage and had a fantastic experience, this year we grabbed Walley's Annex because its on the first floor. Nice layout, clean and quiet (except for the street noise you'll hear in any downtown location). Bed is very comfortable, love the pillows! Nice selections on the TV. Mornings in Saugatuck, especially during the week in the summer are quiet and nice for grabbing a cup of coffee at any of the 4 shops within 50 steps of the front door, then walking along the waterfront boardwalk and enjoying the quiet morning. Shopping is obvious, but we enjoyed bike riding over to Douglas for breakfast, also renting a pontoon at Making Waves (just across the street) and enjoying a lazy few hours on the lake and river then anchoring in the cove next to some dunes. Don't forget Oval beach, just a 12 minute drive away. This is our third year summering in Saugatuck and the Quaint Cottages are now our go-to place to stay every year.

Comfortable lodging in a great location Posted: Sep 13, 2023 Wally´s Annex was clean and comfortable. The living/dining room is spacious and the rest of the rooms are compact but very functional. The TV and WiFi both worked well and the bed was comfortable . There is limited space between the bed and wall on one side . It was very quiet when we were there but if the open west side of Sienna Cafe was filled with people, it could be noisy. One of this place´s best features is its location which is near the water front and within easy walking distance of the stores and restaurants.

Posted: Aug 8, 2023 the airconditioner was loud. we had moderate temperatures so it worked but if it was 5 degrees warmer it would not have met the needs to stay comfortable.
