Great place, well located! Posted: Jun 3, 2024 My friend and I had such a lovely stay in this home. We went to do some small town shopping, do crafts at the house, and chill in the hot tub. Everything was clean and well maintained, we don’t have a single complaint. We walked to downtown Saugatuck both days we were there and Douglas is a 4 minute drive. You’re just a couple blocks from shops and restaurants.

Cute and cozy cottege Posted: Oct 20, 2023 My friend and I stayed at the Nightingale cottage for two nights for a girl's weekend. Our stay was great; the cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. We loved the hot tub in the evenings! I reached out to the management company when we arrived about a parking question and they were quick to get back to me. The first morning we could hear the people above us moving around over our bedrooms, other than that, it was very quiet throughout our stay.

Great memories at or stay at The Nightingale Posted: Apr 7, 2023 My daughter and I had the most perfect girls getaway at The Nightingale. What a beautiful, clean and spacious rental. The beds were very comfortable as was the large couch, where we streamed Hulu movies each evening. So much to do! Walking distance to many restaurants and unique shops, as well as a short drive to hiking trails and Holland Michigan. We definately want to come back and re explore the area in warmer weather.

The Nightingale cottage Posted: Aug 9, 2022 The cottage space was very clean, well kept and cozy and a perfect spot to come back to after a day at the beach or a stroll downtown. The proximity to downtown was one of the nice highlights of our stay. The only con was that we stayed during the Venetian Festival and it was LOUD. We could hear people partying downtown and in the cabins behind us until the wee hours of the morning. I would stay here again in a heartbeat during the week or a normal weekend, but might think twice during any festivals/parties downtown.

Review Posted: Feb 10, 2022 We absolutely loved the cabin! It was so spacious, had a wonderful kitchen and living room. The beds were very comfortable and so was the couch! The hot tub was also a great thing to have in the winter since much wasn’t open in town. It’s a great place to go relax and get away from job/home stress! Only thing I would recommend is some oven mits and sponges for the kitchen.

Great getaway Posted: Oct 6, 2021 We had a great time. Clean and very comfortable in a perfect location for local activities. These rentals are managed well! The unit above us was rented for a portion of the stay. We could definitely hear the renters above but it was not too loud.

Posted: Oct 20, 2020 A stool is NEEDED to get up in the king size bed!! The hot tub was a great treat after a day of exploring Saugatuck. More clear instructions to use the television with a channel menu included. We enjoyed our stay , would recommend it highly and would stay at Quaint Cottages again.

It is an easy walk to most everything in town so you won't have to worry about finding a parking space. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Saugatuck!

Quite Quaint & Perfect Location Posted: Jun 28, 2020 Our stay truly was so quaint. At arrival, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage. All of the bedding was so impeccably clean and the setup was conducive to relaxation. Both my friend and I work long hours during the work week and we feel rejuvenated by our stay. We loved our short walk to downtown Saugatuck and the hot tub was an added bonus. The hot tub was very clean and felt so private. We hope to return very soon.

Great short stay! Posted: Jul 11, 2019 It was a beautifully-situated, charming little cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed it and being so close to the town. A couple of mirrors in the bedrooms would have been useful. We had a bit of a problem with the temperature controls. It suddenly went back to 69 degrees all the time! The bathroom is a bit small with only one sink. But our experience overall was excellent. Thank you.

The Pros and Cons of Nightingale Cottage Posted: Dec 8, 2018 Pros and Cons: The home was such a beautiful cottage and we had a wonderful time there . Everything about the cottage was very well situated . The only thing I can think of that was a con , is that one of the bedrooms did not have a luggage rack or any other surface to place a suitcase upon. It was also nice to have newer appliances such as an ice maker, dishwasher, and washer dryer. We loved the larger couch for all four of us, and the large table for playing games. The hot tub made it a perfect stay!

Great Rental! Posted: Apr 2, 2017 I've stayed at a couple rentals in Michigan, and this was one of the best. Wonderful little house with nice furnishings and appliances. The hot tub was great (especially since it was off-season) and takes two minutes to walk to downtown Saugatuck. Would definitely recommend!

Cute house and geeat location Posted: Jul 26, 2016 Our family just rented this cute cottage for our first vacation and we had a great time! House has nice amenities...washer/dryer being a big win for us with daily visits to the beach! Good comfy couches and nice living space for small family/group. One thing I wish I had known beforehand with two little kids was that the bath is a shower vs tub, which was a little more challenging for us. We were sort of missing an outdoor patio/hangout spot. The hot tub area could easily be made to include this and it would be a great addition! Overall, a very nice spot and we are happy with our stay. Just adding my comments to help paint the picture for future renters!

Posted: Jul 19, 2016 First and foremost the Nightingale offers a convenient short walk to all the attractions of the downtown area...the cottage is very clean the rooms are of ample size and amenities are suitable for a long stay....We failed to give it 5 stars due to only 1 bath, limited television stations for downtime relaxation and no privacy on front door...we had to hang a towel on the door to provide nighttime privacy since the front door is directly on one of the main streets getting into town.... Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and kitchen utensils etc... Would stay again but would hope our concerns would be addressed Saugatuck is a beautiful little town with a lot to offer for everyone youy and old

Great stay! Posted: Jun 14, 2015 we had a great time in Saugatuk. The house was super cute, and in a great location. Close to the water and downtown, but also a short drive to nearby places. Everything was exactly as described. The only real problem we if was that the chlorine in the hot tub seemed very strong so we took it out for a few days to back off a bit on the chemicals. Everything else was fantastic! We would definitely stay there again!
