Picture perfect seaside flat! Posted: Oct 16, 2023 Suggesting a name change for this place! it was absolutely perfect for me. i needed a quiet retreat by myself by the water. i was greeted by rainbows when i arrived and rainbows throughout my stay!! every detail of this place is so classy and thoughtful and comfortable. i saw seals swimming by but no whales this time. the hosts were very responsive to my questions and needs. thanks so much and hope to visit again.

Posted: Jul 18, 2023 I could have sat in the living room or on the porch scoping for whales, dolphins, hummingbirds or passing cruise ships our entire trip, but im glad we got out + made quite a few visits to Chilkoot lake, just down the road. This place is a piece of craftmanship, immaculate and so well designed, attention to every detail. Randa made booking a breeze, gave me lots of helpful local tips! And Clara was so welcoming and generous with a bottle of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary. She even let me borrow a kayak and a book! True Alaskan hospitality all around.

It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is equipped with a world class view. The accommodation was spotless and check-in was seamless. We walked from the flat into town numerous times and bagged Mount Ripinski from there as well. You don’t want to miss out on this place, just book it!

We enjoyed just sitting on the verandah! The facilities were excellent with everything you could need. The decor was great - comfortable but not cluttered and so well thought-out. We really enjoyed being able to cook a meal easily. We would definitely recommend this stay.

Newly built unit with the best furniture and interior design I have ever seen in a vacation rental. Bald eagles and whales right out front. In a word it was perfect!
