Late summer getaway

We love the location of this cabin and we were so happy the beach was open! A few steps out the door and we were there. The cabin was well stocked which we appreciated. The only downside was it was not as clean as we had expected. We found remnants of broken balloons on the floor and a couple little pieces of glass on the carpet. I had to lift the couch cushion to look for the TV remote and that area was quite dirty. The weather cooperated so we spent most of the days outside—luckily the storms hit at night.

A lovely stay

As usual Chalet #12 was clean and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The weather was perfect and the beach was a good size this year. One problem was the hose on the outside could not be operated to wash off the sand before entering the Chalet. We reported it but it was not attended to during our stay. Regardless we will most likely book Chalet #12 for next year.

Regarding stay

I have been coming there off and on for 40 years. This by far was the worst ever. The view of the lake obstructed by bushes, no security when you need help. I was there alone. There was a sink hole right where people park. If I did not find someone to cover it a child could have fallen let alone the front end of a car. The wind took my closed umbrella and flipped the table leaving shattered glass everywhere. Thank the Dear Lord for my friend and savior Eddy. He was amazing. Sadly I will not be returning and will not recommend this to anyone. For $2000. You want your guests to strip beds! That is really sad. Sandra Desautels.

Enjoyable Time

The new procedures worked well. We look forward to returning to the same Chalet for many years to come.

I loved my stay it’s my Chalet. The grounds looked good except the burn site of the old guard shack
