Beautiful house, secluded, really quite a spectacular house. But while you get highly personalized attention and hospitality with Pine Hollow Lodging - there is too much paperwork and email communications involved in the booking process which nowadays should have been streamlined.

There was no heat downstairs at the play room But other than that everything was fine. Very cozy cabin, the views, the piano. My family and I really enjoyed our time there.

We loved Overlook Lodge! It was the perfect place to have a getaway with my in-laws and our 2 dogs. Spacious, clean, all the amenities you could ask for, comfy beds, huge fireplace and all the wood you need, and the most amazing views! We spent hours gazing at the changing weather, colors, clouds, and mountains. Location is great. Accessible yet totally private. I deducted 1/2 star for this review because the oven wasn’t working so we had to rethink a few dinner recipes, but that was so very minor compared to what the cottage offered. And I hear there are plans to replace the oven very soon. Communication with Jason was perfect -very responsive and kind. We can’t wait to return!

Our family of four (2 adults, a 5-year-old, and 15-month-old) stayed at Overlook Lodge with another couple and had a wonderful time. The view from the deck and inside the house is breathtaking, and the house has everything you could possibly need, from a well-stocked kitchen to games and toys for the kids, and even a piano and guitar! We enjoyed the Bluetooth Bose speaker in the living room, and the location was extremely quiet and private while being close to many area hikes. The firepit was great, and we loved being close to Margaretville for picking up groceries. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'd love to stay there again!

Super clean, gorgeous log home set in 10 acres of woods, with an indoor fireplace, huge picture windows, and was perfect for our group of 9. The kitchen is clean and well stocked, with helpful labels so that we didn’t have to search for utensils and pots etc. Delightful and whimsical art collections out this property over the 5-star threshold! Definitely returning

Our experience was wonderful from the time we arrived through our departure. The view from the deck is spectacular, the kitchen well-appointed, and the home decorated in an outstanding manner - there was something to capture your attention wherever you looked. This destination is truly a peaceful home away from home!

My family had a wedding at the Spillian, and when looking for a property to stay at, the Overlook Lodge was perfect for our needs. The property was absolutely beautiful. It was a log cabin with a wraparound deck that had amazing views. It was a perfect weekend. I highly recommend Jason and Phyllis, property managers at Pine Hollow Lodging Vacation Rentals for all of your vacation needs. Jason was so prompt in getting back to all of the questions the guests needed answered. I hope to stay at one of their properties again. :)

We loved your place! When we first entered the house, the view took our breath away! It is apparent, however, that your neighbor near the cul-de-sac does not like your renting out your place. While we were at a wedding in the late afternoon on Saturday, my son-in-law and 2 grandsons (age 2 and 4) were riding their bikes on the cul-de-sac when your neighbor fired 4 or 5 rounds of a rifle off of his back deck. This terrified the children, especially the 2-year-old. My son-in-law brought them in immediately and felt that the neighbor did it intentionally to scare the children. I didn’t want to write this on AirBNB because I don’t want to discourage other people from renting your beautiful home. I also appreciate Jason bringing by extra keys and would definitely recommend your place to others! Susan Jordan

The cabin was exactly as it looked in the pictures and is very has a comfortable and warm vibe. Everything was clearly marked so we knew where things were. The town close by was charming and friendly. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

My family and I stayed for a great weekend together. The area offered something for everyone (shopping, hiking, and just relaxing) and the house was wonderful. The beautiful view from the porch, the vaulted living room ceiling, and the spacious and well equipped kitchen made our stay spectacular.

This home is in a beautiful mountain location. The house is both rustic and updated...it's spacious and comfortable. My family loved it! We slept 11 comfortably and the kitchen and dining areas were perfect family gathering spaces. It was perfectly located for access to Roxbury, Margaretville, Delhi and New Kingston. Management of this property is excellent! Very responsive and friendly. Jason and Phyllis do a wonderful job of maintaining this beautiful home. Would love to find a reason to go again.

My family and friends had such a wonderful ski weekend in the Catskills. The house was amazing and equipped with everything we needed (excepted a blender) The only small issue we had was with the smell and tasted of the water. I would recommend investing in a whole house water purification system. Other than that we had a great time.
