The cottage has a private path to the entrance to the walking trail to the Giant Stairs, where you can enjoy the rocky Maine coast in all of its glory. Ocean views from every window, with the constant ocean breezes, the cottage has been updated with modern conveniences, while maintaining its historic charm. Brunswick, Maine, home of Bowdoin College, is only a 15 minute drive away. Bath, Freeport, Portland and Boothbay are also within easy access. There is something for everyone, regardless if you like hiking, boating, sightseeing, cruising on the ocean, shopping, antiquing, eating lobster, enjoying nature or just relaxing. This cottage is away from it all, but close enough to a good grocery store and every convenience you would need within a 15 minute drive.

We had a wonderful time and it was refreshing to see that the pictures were accurate. The home was clean, well appointed and fit the ocean setting perfectly. So excited that the Giant Stairs were right there!! Thank you for everything it was a well needed and relaxing retreat.
