Charming cabin- we would return here. We loved the very big and very comfortable couch. One problem we had was the electric heaters were very noisy at night when they kicked on, so we had to sleep with the heat off.

The cabin was perfect for the whole family! It is beautiful and the one level made it easy for the little ones. We all enjoyed the large yard and exploring the woods and creek. It was also nice being so close to town to grab S'mores supplies for the fire pit! All in all, it was just right for a weekend getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Chipmunk Cabin! It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 little kids). Any concerns we had were promptly dealt with by Jason and Phyllis.

We really enjoyed the cabin and the land around it. We noted to the landlord that there was an odor which got stronger through the week. The other small details/suggestions are that there were very few drinking glasses, perhaps only two mason jar style glasses in addition to about 4 mugs and very little pantry space for dry goods for those staying more than a day or two. Regardless, we would happily stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Chipmunk Cabin. Great to get away during the pandemic. Family members were able to work remotely. Cabin had great amenities. Jason and Phyllis were a pleasure to work with, once again.

My family and I are grateful for our stay at the chipmunk cabin. It was the perfect magical, serene, quiet spot we needed away from the city in the time of Covid. The cabin was cosy but spacious enough with sweet touches throughout. The grounds were magnificent and we loved our nightly fires and star gazing. It was the country retreat we needed and close enough to the sweet town of Margaretville. Jason and Phylis were wonderful hosts and very available if needed. We all returned to the city carrying a bit of peace with us. Thanks Jason and Phylis!!!

The cabin is super comfortable and the nature around it is so beautiful. We cooked all of our meals so we really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and grill. The fire pit was lovely too! Everything about this cabin was wonderful. The only downside was that there was a foul odor that would waft through the house between noon-4 pm, I suppose when the sun was strongest. The house would be surrounded by flies and the smell would be pretty strong. Jason was super nice and accommodating and immediately came by multiple times to check it out once we told him about it. Since the place was so lovely to be in, this didn't affect our experience whatsoever and we will definitely be back!
