Bring all of your family and friends to stay and enjoy our heated pool, indoor spa, and recreation area which has a family
firepit, outdoor BBQ and picnic area, a swing set and jungle gym, volley ball, tether ball, shuffleboard,
putting green, basketball, and ping pong. In our cabins, we provide new flatscreen televisions in all livingrooms and bedrooms, and fireplaces.

Very cozy family atmosphere . Went here for a conference but would love to bring the family back . Only one problem , my jacuzzi was only cold water. Went to the front desk and they fixed the issue super fast ! Both clerks at the front desk were super friendly and helpful . Overall the vibe here is top notch. Cabin was equipped with everything ! Next time I’ll bring some of my meals to save $ . No AC but there were fans and it was comfortable . My friend got the cabin across from me. No jacuzzi but she had a nice living room instead ! Super cute common areas to hang out in a porch swing with my dog . I’ll be back for sure !

My family and I went to Big Bear last minute for a day in the mountains. We didn't check ahead, and found the hotels were almost sold out by 4 pm everywhere. We arrived at Grey squirrel and found exactly what we needed and it was charming, clean and the right price!

We had a great weekend in the Doe Suite. Loved the jacuzzi, and the people were very accommodating when we decided to extended our stay. We'll definitely be coming back!

Everything was great. Follow the instructions on the jacuzzi. Only fill it with hot water. Water pouring in starts boiling hot and then goes to lukewarm by the end. The water in the tub averages out to hot, but could be hotter. Basically, it drains the hot water heater so you might have to do it twice. Fill it once. Wait an hour or so. Drain a bit from the tub. Fill it with boiling hot water again. The only complaint we had was that our sinuses were not feeling too good with the air. The cabin is smokey because it has a wood fireplace (which we did not use), but that is expected. If I did it again, I would bring my air purifier to plug in. But that's not roughing it.
