Cindy Grutza is absolutely fantastic in helping us get the room we want & to get in early. Been staying in 606 every time we can we book it very early so we can get it when we're able to come to daytona. We live in Georgia it's not that far but Cindy always helps us a great person God bless her! The only issue at all is the large amount of kids with the church group that come in. You can't get on the elevator in a timely manner they are not supervised well they ride the elevators up and down tying them up, & generally make the regular gas would be fine if there were 25 or 30 or so but but more than a hundred was a little too much. But we love this place the ocean mall and we love room 606 and will continue to stay there like I said, Cindy Grutza is absolutely wonderful!!!

Very enjoyable place to stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable and well laid out. Ideal location to Daytona Events and an easy walk to Main St.

The room was excellent as always as I always get 606. Last year the water slide was down it is down again this year. Things like this need to be addressed also the hot tub is not working. It was not working last year either. The steps that go over the lazy river and over to the other side of the pool or the same material that you go up in the lobby with but yet it's been ruled that it is not safe. All this needs is grit tape put on the steps. This either needs to be fixed or torn down where guests can go across. Things like this detract from the overall experience but again the room is great. Cones on the steps cones on the water slide and a torn up hot tub give the appearance of the hotel being run down. If you would like to contact me 478-488-1078...thx, Roy Hall III

From the moment we arrived, after driving from Wisconsin, the security personnel very graciously directed us where to check in, and Franco, the gentleman behind the counter, treated us so kind and with warm welcome. That only led up to the surprise we encountered when we got to see our room overlooking the ocean. Beautiful :)

These are great people to stay with. There were a couple minor issues with the room, initially, but we're corrected shortly after being reported. Then the resort itself is an awesome place to stay, very kid friendly. They have activities for kids, and families, set for everyday. The shops offer great food as well as the eatery inside of OceanWalk. Then there's the Turtles Nest outside that offers great variety of alcoholic type drinks. This was our 2nd stay at OceanWalk, and we will be returning again

We had the most wonderful time staying at the wyndham oceanwalk Daytona beach fl. I would have given it 5 stars but we had trouble with the washer spinning out,couldn't get the remote to work for the tv in the bedroom, and the front ale on the stove didn't work. I must say even with those little issues it didn't put a damper on our stay at all, we had the time of our lives. We couldn't stay out of the pools and off the water slide,the staff was great we had access to everything right on the beach. And the view, the view was absolutely beautiful ,waking up and going to sleep hearing the waves....Cindy was great, she always responded to my text,calls and emails. We are already planning for our vacation next year at the wyndham oceanwalk Daytona beach fl, and we love to book it with you....

Excellent family vacation spot. Several pools. Lazy river. Band Shell next door. Main pier within walking distance. Room was very clean. Security in pool area and parking deck.

We are regular vacationers at Dayton Beach Ocean Walk. Our last minute booking was a great unit. Well maintained, clean and perfect for a relaxing week. The owners were very responsive when the A/C stopping working due to a wide spread power failure in the area. Watch out and do not rent a Timeshare unit. The actual unit owners commit to a specific unit and you know what you are getting. They are also better maintained. Will rent again from this owner/manager.

First of all, thanks to the manager of this unit we actually had a room to stay in! Originally, we booked a unit from another VRBO listing, paid for it, then we were told there were no units available! We found and booked this room 4 days before our planned trip, so they saved our vacation. The property is great! Located right next to the pier, shops and restaurants, so many pools to choose from and of course, most important, steps away from the non-driving beach. This particular room would benefit from a complete re-model however. When I travel, I do expect my living environment to closely match my home environment; quality furnishings, updated appliances, working kitchen equipment, safety, and comfort amenities are not too much to expect in my opinion. Parking was good, but it would be nice if they would allow additional parking spaces when space is available. Staff here is mixed, some AMAZING, others not customer oriented. Overall, had a great time.

Cindy was so nice and answered my questions promptly, and the room was fine. We will use her again!!! There was a piece of baseboard missing due to water damage, but I told Cindy that was no biggie, and the handle that opens the sliding glass door was broken off, but we could still operate the door and that was OK too, I called and made Cindy aware of it & the baseboard & told her it was OK . One issue though was that we had just showered and gone to the living room and we heard someone come in our room. It was the Black headed, rude acting latino guy that works for ocean walk, and an insurance adjuster. They said they knocked, but I did not hear them knock, and if they had been 1 minute earlier, we would have been in the shower. I did not like this unauthorized intrusion. They did not ring the room or call my cell first as could have been done either. This place needs some ice machines, & we had to beg the front desk for ice and that came in a tiny bag available once a day. Thx Roy

We had a great time. The room had a great view. The tv cable was not working and Cindy had someone there within 5 minutes to fix the problem. We were very impressed. We would defiantly book again
