Our second stay at Koa. We enjoy the nice property and the quiet. Easy access to all services. This is an older property and is showing its age a bit. The unit itself has a spacious and cozy layout with a nice deck. It is a tad tired, however, and needs a touch of sprucing up. Unit is clean and well equipped.

The KOA Resort was in a great location to the beach. The pool was nice and large and never very busy. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable. It could use some updating though. We really appreciated the lanai with the beautiful palm trees and flowering trees surrounding it. It was especially fun to listen to the birds each morning around sunrise. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would stay there again.

Plenty of room for 2 couples and convenient to parking, BBQ area and tennis courts. Spacious deck was our favourite sitting area. We were pleased with how quiet the unit and complex were. Pool is a nice size and clean. We never had a problem getting loungers. Property is pretty with lots of flowering foliage and trees. Unit needs a general freshening up as it is a bit worn around the edges, but having said that I would readily book it again. Thanks for a great holiday!

Very comfortable place to stay. Loved being close to beach and the other amenities the resort had to offer. Beautiful grounds to walk.

The four of us had a great time and Kelli's place. The apartment was clean and spacious, the living area is comfortable and the balcony is wonderful for breakfast. While the apartment isn't in walking distance of the more lively center of Kihei, there is a very nice beach just across the road that offers, like basically any place in Maui, stunning views of the sunset. One welcome surprise was all the beach equipment available in the apartment: Snorkel sets, a cooler, folding seats and even a boogie board.

Koa Resort is a wonderful, lush and spacious resort (I think it's 4 acres). This two bedroom condo was huge by Maui standards and very well stocked for cooking, sleeping and beach fun. The deck is wonderfully private and faces towards the pool and ocean (but there is no ocean view). We loved this older but fairly well maintained condo with its' large private bedroom, spacious upstairs loft and two bathrooms. There is also a washer/dryer and loads of storage. The spacious kitchen and great room are open to the vaulted ceiling and double sliding glass doors, making this a wonderful place to entertain and soak in aloha. It is an older building and shows some use, but it was clean and everything worked fine. There are three free standing A/C units that have been retrofitted into the bedroom, loft and great room. The A/C units are noisy but worked well and we were glad to have them. Overall a very positive experience!

We had a great stay here. There were 5 of us and the accommodations were pretty good....a bit dark in some of the areas of the condo (needs more lighting) and also the pull out couch needs a new mattress but otherwise it was great....location was perfect for us. Mahalo and Aloha

Overall it was a great stay and a nice place. It didn't have air conditioning, so the loft room got hot, but they did have fans, so that helped. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and even had spices. It seemed to be very well taken care of.

Great holiday- enjoyed the weather and peace stay at the 3 i condo.....Loved the well stocked kitchen and lovely patio door to open to the Lanai! Concern - the tile floors we not scrubbed so our feet soon became Very dirty! - Still need bathroom door up in loft replaced - Very unbecoming - the shower in down stair/ upstair bathtub could also look better by just recaulking around units.....

The Koa Resort was an excellent place to stay. The grounds were well maintained, quite and not touristy. The extras were great; pool, tennis courts, BBQ grills, and table tennis area. If you like Kihei but don't want to be in the mist of all of the tourists, this is great place. Unit 3i was well stocked for all of our needs. We spent 2 weeks in the unit, 1 week with 6 people and 1 with just 3. The large size was great when there were 6 of us. There was plenty of room Couch is a little dated, but it has a superb queen size sleeper in it, that our teenage boys found very comfortable. We would come back again!

The vegetation around 3i makes for a serene setting. I slept on the couch and loved waking to that view and the sound of the birds each morning. (btw the I was unable to open the hideabed.) The unit was well stocked with kitchen gadgets. And the beach supplies much appreciated. There is a post-it requesting guests be green which I agree with. So then where should towels and bathing suits be dried if not on the back part of the balcony?

We had a great stay! During booking I received responses when I had questions very quickly. The pictures are very accurate. We had 2 adults, 4 children (ages 18,15,12,8) and we had plenty of room. Having the full kitchen was great! The appliances are fairly new and very clean. All the needed kitchen items are available. We used the beach chairs, camp chairs, boogie board and cooler EVERYDAY! That was nice to have available! There were only 3 beach towels so if you have more than 3 people just realize this. The location was great--was central to everything. To say the beach is right across the street is kind of stretching it. We always drove to nicer, better beaches anyway. The pool at the complex was nice as well as the hot tub. There was always plenty of parking. We didn't use the air conditioner at all. We just opened the windows each night and it cooled down pretty quickly. One of the showers had a knob that wasn't working so we just used 1. Would stay here again! It was great! :)

We stayed (2 couples) in this condo for 8 nights. The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! The pool is really nice and the grounds as well as staff are lovely. I would recommend staying here to anyone! The location is perfect if you intend to travel around the island, you are so central which makes it easy to get everywhere quickly! The only comment I would make is the bed downstairs as well as pillows definitely need to be updated/replaced. The bed and pillows upstairs however are great!

The place was really great and had exceeded our expectations for a family of four adults. The spacious kitchen was fully equipped and we cooked on many occasions which made the experience very homey. Its a walk away from the beach and the neighbourhood is very friendly with its own BBQs and a swimming pool. All in all a fantastic deal for a family!

We loved the property it it is dated. There are rules I did not like. No hanging items to dry on balcony, no riding bikes on side walk, was station locked. Most places Have a Shower or hose to wash sand off from the beach to keep condo clean. The pool closes @ 9pm most people like to relax at the pool after an event ful day in Maui. The condo cop century's around like a gestapo threading citations for violations. If the HOA does not want vacation rentors they should just say so. The property mgr. Kelly Braxton was great. Thanks for asking Sid Pruitt Jr. This is our 2nd time @ KOA
