How to Integrate Bookerville Widgets into a Wix Website

Wix is a great tool to create websites, even for those in the Vacation Rental industry. In order to integrate your Bookerville Widgets, such as the Availability and Booking Calendar, the Multiproperty Search Widget, the Reviews Widget, you'll need to use "iframes."

In order to use our Iframe code on your Wix website, you'll need to download and install one of the free apps that are available on the Wix website.

Here's the link to the page on Wix that shows the available apps that will help you integrate iframes:
http://www.wix.com/app-market/search?query=iframe

You only need to pick one and install it into your Wix dashboard.

Once the iframe app is installed, follow the instructions within the app to see where you copy and paste the "iframe" html code into your site.

All of Bookerville's "iframe" code is on the "Widgets and Colors" tab on the far right side of the screen when you are in Edit mode for any particular property.

Let us know you if you need any help!

Cindy, we use wix for our website. I have tried placing the inquiry widget on a page, but the widget is very large. Is there a way to specify the size?

I wanted to update anyone who might be following this thread. Here is a concerning page on Wix's own support pages, describing a problem they seem to have with providing reasonable "viewport" settings for phones:

https://support.wix.com/en/article/viewport-configuration-for-mobile-devices

Seems they force it to 320 pixels, which is incredibly narrow. I can't fathom why they would force it to such a small size, given that no phones have been produced for almost 10 years with less than double that (640 pixel) resolution.

I don't know how old that page is, so hopefully (?) it's no longer true, but if it is, then it might mean you need to move on from Wix and find a more modern solution that has more reasonable viewport options.

Thanks John for the update. I like working with Wix because it's easy for a lot of things, but can occasionally can be difficult for some basic things.
