We collect a refundable security deposit that is applied to the final payment due and we collect a non-refundable damage insurance fee. Can you guide me how to set that up please? Thank you! JW

I do the same thing...how do you add additional fees?
John Amato, October 16, 2012:

We need to make an enhancement to the software to support this. We will most likely handle this with something we are calling "Forced Guest Options", or "Mandatory Guest Options". Several Bookerville members are in need of this for other add-ons, such as parking fees, trash pickup fees, etc.

Essentially, you will enter a new Guest Option labeled "Damage Insurance Waiver" or something like that, and price it as needed. But there will be a check-box that says something like "Forced Option" or "Mandatory Option", which means that customers will not be presented with the option to choose it - it will simply automatically appear in the list of charges for the booking.

And don't worry: no one but internal members will see the term "Forced" (or "Mandatory") Guest Options...

We hope to get to this this week - we will update this topic, and also let you know individually when it is available.
